Dear Tim;

Attached are some pics from the Canadian Indoor team trials the Toronto area session. We run the trials on a decentrilized basis where guys can fly anywhere in Canada in CAT I site and send the times in during 30 day period. This year we had 6 people flying as opposed to 3 previous years with the 65cm models. Results are not in from all parts of the country yet so I will not report on these. CAT I flying these new rule jobs is difficult. Very high pitch VP's. My model is very short as you can see and when I was launching I launched very high and the model lost height for a couple circles and finally at around 4 min on the clock would start to climb and reach the ceiling in around 10-11 minutes.... I feel that my model works very well and am very happy with it. It does not have max wing area and the design is short and was designed for ultimate climb - see plan on www.indoorduration.com. My partial tests confirm a peak at around 220 feet and a initial climb of 80 feet in 40 seconds with a fixed pitch flare prop. I now want to delelop a reverse VP where high pitch comes in at the max height to conserve turns. I guess that it will show how accurate my test are this february when we get down to the Tropicana meet in Tampa, Florida.
All the pics are taken by Garry Hunter.

Best regards,

Vladimir Linardic
